This October, for the sixth year in a row, Therme București becomes the meeting point for sauna enthusiasts from all over the world at Sauna Fest 2024, the largest event of its kind.
More than 80 international Aufguss masters (from Belgium, Denmark, Czechia, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Romania, Italy, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Ukraine, Japan, the USA, Canada, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) will surprise you with over 500 multisensory performances like you've never experienced before.
Carefully selected essential oils, music, and theatre will merge at over 60°C, creating stories you’ll want to share for years to come. Experience the magic of the sauna live at this one-of-a-kind event.

An Aufguss ritual is crafted by an Aufguss Master who uses ice balls infused with unique combinations of natural essential oils to create steam, which is then skilfully directed towards the sauna participants using impressive towel (or flag) movements. The result is a fascinating, therapeutic sensory experience for both mind and body.
