Internal regulations and rules for the use of pools and attractions
1. Binding nature and purpose
The internal regulations and rules for the use of pools and attractions are binding on all visitors of THERME BUCUREŞTI, in all the premises owned by Therme Nord București, including:
- on the access road from the intersection with the National Road
- in all gardens and outdoor spaces of Therme
- in the car park and the waiting area at the entrance (check-out desks).
THERME BUCUREŞTI is a space for relaxation and sports activities where each visitor can fully benefit from recreation, relaxation and fun. The purpose of these internal regulations and rules for the use of pools and attractions is to ensure the security of people and property, as well as order and cleanliness.
In order to enjoy the facilities provided by THERME BUCUREŞTI, you as visitor must agree with the rules set out herein. If you do not agree with any of the rules of THERME BUCUREŞTI, please do not enter the premises. By paying for the entry ticket (i.e. from the time when you receive the access wristband) you as visitor of THERME BUCUREŞTI (while either inside the building or in the adjacent spaces, including the car park) give your consent to the internal regulations and rules for the use of pools and you undertake to unconditionally comply with all the rules laid down below, which you are supposed and presumed to have carefully read and gone through by simply coming to THERME BUCUREŞTI. By giving your consent upon receiving the access wristband a contract arises between you and the company managing THERME BUCUREŞTI, under the terms of these rules and regulations.
THERME BUCUREŞTI's staff are only entitled and have no obligation nor the possibility, given the large number of visitors, to ensure that visitors comply with this regulation. As a result, visitors are responsible for accidents caused by non-compliance - the liability for non-compliance and its effects are borne by them. At the request of the visitors, THERME BUCUREŞTI staff guides them.
In particular, you as visitor represent that you understand and agree that the use of the sports facilities within THERME BUCUREŞTI (slides, pools, play facilities, etc.) involves risks specific to the sports activities and that you understand and agree that due to this risk inherent in sports activities you may be injured while at THERME BUCUREŞTI (in situations such as swim rings turning upside down on the slide, hitting in/against the slide, hitting in pools/against pool edges, etc.). In such cases you agree that THERME BUCUREŞTI is only liable for damages to your life, body or health that occurred as a direct result of an act or omission of THERME BUCUREŞTI. By giving your consent to these terms you also represent that your health is good or at least suitable for sports activities.
Parents and accompanying persons taking care of children or other persons (injudicious persons etc.) are responsible for the observance of the regulation by children and persons under their care or supervision.
2. Working hours, admission, entry
In all areas accessible to motor vehicles on the property of Therme Nord București – access roads, car park, roundabouts – it is mandatory to comply with all traffic rules set out by the Romanian laws in force (the Road Traffic Code will be observed). The following are prohibited in particular:
- exceeding the mandatory speed indicated by traffic signs
- not complying with the road signs
- parking or stopping on the green areas or places other than those specifically designated
- blocking the access roads
- disposing of waste or objects from motor vehicles.
The car park is used solely by the visitors of THERME BUCUREŞTI and it may be used half an hour before the opening time and half an hour after the closing time.
All these rules apply to the access roads, the car park and the spaces before reaching the check-out desks: any uncivilized or improper behaviour (throwing paper or gum on the ground, etc.), as well as physical and verbal violence are prohibited.
The working hours for the public of THERME BUCUREŞTI are set by the company management and are publicly posted in the entrance hall and the website. The duration of access depends on the prices paid. If the duration paid for in advance is exceeded, the corresponding additional amount will be charged subsequently, before leaving the premises. The access to the complex is allowed until at least one hour and a half before the closing time on that day. The closing time of THERME BUCUREŞTI is the time at which you have to leave the premises. The hours of use of the pools, slides, saunas and wave pool end 30 minutes before the closing time and, therefore, at said time, you have to leave these areas.
Therme Nord București reserves the right to temporarily limit/restrict the access of motor vehicles to the car park area, as well as the access of people to the premises if the maximum operating capacity has been reached. This measure is required for visitors to enjoy the most relaxing and safest experience at Therme.
The company management may limit, at any time, in whole or in part, the use and offers of THERME BUCUREŞTI (for example, technical failures, cleaning, technical revision). In such cases you may not request discounts or refunds of the entry price nor make other material claims. Also, if certain areas within the premises are closed due to photo shoots, events, courses or the like, there is no right to refund or discount on the entry price.
When accessing THERME BUCUREȘTI, you have to make sure that you have a bathing suit, a towel and slippers/flip flops, apart from the ones you are wearing before entering. The staff of THERME BUCUREȘTI has the right to check that you own them before entering. You can rent a towel and a robe from THERME BUCUREŞTI against a fee.
For safety reasons, the areas inside THERME BUCUREŞTI are partially monitored by cameras. The recordings may be accessed only in case of suspicion by persons authorized according to the applicable regulations and by the police. They are useful to the safety and protection of property of the visitors and THERME BUCUREŞTI.
The persons who, due to severe physical or mental disabilities are helpless or need supervision may visit THERME BUCUREŞTI only in the presence of an adult accompanying them. This rule also applies to persons suffering from episodes of fainting, cramps or epilepsy, as well as for persons suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
Children under 14 are not allowed access unless they are accompanied by an adult. In the case of all minors (under and over 14 years), the liability for damage or injury caused by them, as well as compliance with the regulation is borne by their parents, or, in their absence, by their guardians, if the parents or guardians do not accompany the children. Parents are directly responsible for the safety and supervision of children and are required to read and explain to children the instructions of attractions, including slides. Parents (ie people accompanying children in the absence of parents) will go with the children each time to the starting platform for slides to ensure the correct position of the child at the beginning of the race. Children under 14 are NOT allowed access to the ELYSIUM area. Children under 14 are NOT allowed access to THE PALM area, except for children aged up to 3 years old who are accompanied by their parents. Each visitor must keep the access wristband and the borrowed objects to avoid losing them. At the end of the visit, the wristband will be handed over at the check-out desks by the person who wore it (one person may not hand over several wristbands).
In case of loss or destruction of the wristband, compensation will be paid in the amount of RON 300 (if the visitor specifies the number of the wristband) and RON 600 (if the visitor does not specify the number of the wristband). Be advised! Rented towels and robes are monitored. Any non-return or attempt to not return them at the exit points will lead to legal action, and the customer who rented the towel/robe will be charged the set deposit for loss/damage.
The admission acquired entitles to access only in the area for which a ticket was purchased and does not grant free-of-charge rights of access to other areas or to additional services or programs (such as towel, bathing suit, food, drink, etc., which will be acquired separately). The facilities located in a certain area of Therme Bucureşti are intended solely for the visitors who acquired the right of access to that area and they cannot be used by the other visitors (for example, visitors who only acquired access rights for the Galaxy area cannot buy food from the Palm area).
There will be no reservations for the facilities provided by the Complex within Therme Bucureşti, except as expressly provided on the website or in the promotional materials (for example, reservations are allowed for massage services). In such areas you have the obligation to clear the lounger (namely to remove your property from the lounger) if you do not use it for any period of time. In those areas, if you leave your personal property on or near the lounger and you are not actually there, you give your express consent that THERME BUCUREŞTI staff have the right to collect your property you left on or near the lounger and place and leave them in the storage locations specifically intended for such property.
